Control your Air conditioning and Heating
For your comfort, the apartment is equipped with a Daikin air-to-air heat pump, providing both air conditioning and supplemental heating.
Both systems are pre-programmed to maintain a minimum indoor temperature of 20°C (68°F) during the colder months and a maximum temperature of approximately 25°C (77°F) during the summer.
The remote control is located on the right-hand side as you enter the apartment, just below the intercom.
Heating mode
Press "Mode" until the "sun" icon appears
The main is an electric underflor system. Like any storage heating system, it is pre-programmed.
- A backup heating option is at your disposal, provided by the Daikin heat pump in "Heating" mode.
- Press "Temp" to set your desired temperature
Air conditionning mode
Press "Mode" until the "cold" icon appears
It is pre-programmed to run during the following times:
- Night: between 2:00 AM and 7:00 AM
- Day: between 12:30 PM and 3:30 PM
These time slots can be adjusted remotely upon request, depending on the weather conditions (please use the Airbnb messaging system to let us know)
The remote control allows you to adjust the fan speed using the "Fan" button; you can increase it if needed or lower if you find it to noisy
During the hottest months, we recommend lowering the roller shutters and clothing windows in the afternoon on the terrace side, and doing the same in the morning in the right-hand bedroom, which faces the rising sun. Using the two fans is recommended to balance the temperature throughout the apartment
